In this video I go over some of my favorite exercises to help you build a strong foundation for yourself on your Mixing and Mastering  journey.

These exercises include:

• A simple gain staging exercise to help you get your levels right at the start of your session

• A simple balancing exercise to help you learn how to balance your track properly

• A simple and effective EQ exercise to help you with your ear training and EQ'ing skills

• Basic routing

From there I take you through a very simple mix of my original song "Thinking About You" using only stock plugins

After that I finish up with a quick and simple Master using only stock plugins

This video is targeted toward beginners to help them develop a strong foundation for you on your Mixing and Mastering journey by helping you master the basics.
